Dr. John Williams
Dr. John Williams defines himself as a veterinarian who enjoys experiencing the love shared between a pet and their owner. He grew up a farm kid and always thought he would continue in that tradition, as he always enjoyed interacting with all the animals that live out in the country. He spent many summers with his aunt and uncle in Tennessee because they are both veterinarians, and he decided then that he wanted to become a veterinarian. He received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Texas A&M in 2012.
He loves working with all kinds of animals and spent three years in a mixed animal practice that included dogs and cats, pigs, sheep, cattle and any other animals clients could throw into the mix. Internal medicine/gastrointestinal surgery is his favorite type of challenge. He also travels to Kenya on occasion to do veterinary/missionary work among the native Massai and help them with their cattle. He has deep compassion for all animals and their place on this planet. The joys of his life are his wife, Mollie, and his two children, Grace and Noah. His faith in Christ and the ability to help others is also a huge driving force in his life. While these are the center of my universe, he also really does like the Dallas Cowboys and his Fightin’ Texas Aggies!
His two favorite quotes: “Do or do not; there is no try.” -Yoda and “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” -Philippians 4:13
