I-20 Animal Medical Center is AAHA-Accredited!
I-20 Animal Medical Center set our standards high so we can provide you and your pets the highest quality of veterinary care and service.
To be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), our veterinary hospital must continue to demonstrate an exceptional level of medical care and client service. AAHA standards cover every aspect of our hospital to assure your satisfaction with the level of veterinary care both you and your pet receive.
AAHA’s standards require I-20 Animal Medical Center to provide diagnostic services (X-ray and laboratory) so we can quickly and accurately diagnose ailments affecting your pet. Plus, because we have an onsite pharmacy, we can begin treatment immediately.
AAHA standards also require pet medical records to be thorough and complete. Thorough records help us better understand your pet’s medical history and how past health issues might be impacting their current medical status.
I-20 Animal Medical Center is proud to be an AAHA-accredited practice. We believe this helps keep us on the leading edge of veterinary medicine. We are focused on continuous improvement to assure we can offer the quality and range of services you expect and deserve for your pet.
Who is AAHA?
AAHA was founded in 1933 and is the only association that provides voluntary accreditation to companion animal hospitals. We are one of approximately 3,000 traditional hospitals and numerous referral hospitals in the United States that are AAHA-accredited and that have made a commitment to meeting the highest standards of veterinary care.
What are the Standards of Accreditation?
The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are widely used as benchmarks to measure excellence in veterinary medicine. I-20 Animal Medical Center has been successfully evaluated by an AAHA practice consultant on approximately 900 standards that directly correlate to the care we provide to your pet. The standards are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure they remain consistent with changes in veterinary medicine and technology.
How do These Standards Help You and Your Pet?
Choosing an AAHA-accredited hospital for your pet’s veterinary care assures you the hospital you have selected has the team, equipment, medical procedures and facilities to deliver the highest quality veterinary care. To maintain accreditation, I-20 Animal Medical Center is evaluated every three years.
